MIPEG – AADI
The MIPEG crane monitoring system can function as a crane load indicator or as a monitoring and data recording system. Sparrows BSM is proud to deliver sales and service contracts with MIPEG’s AADI (Aanderaa Data Instruments AS), bringing standards of safety improvements in crane operation.
MIPEG combines crane safety and maintenance through its data logging feature, which enables you to store a complete analysis of each individual and cumulative elevation over the life of the crane:
Dynamic or static load of blocks
Dynamic and static torque
Radius and number of turns of steel cable
Sea conditions and duration of elevation
Operational data
MIPEG data can be transferred to a computer or laptop. The MIPEG load sensors provide information on both the static load and the peak load during each lift and pass the information to the computer. Simultaneously, the MIPEG tilt indicator installed in the boom foot section measures the boom angle providing the operating angle. This allows the computer to constantly monitor the safe workload at any angle.
The four MIPEG monitors report:
Current hook load
Operating radius
Sea conditions or the lifting condition
Safe Workload (SWL)
Cable and steering system speed (RSI)
The MIPEG RSI is designed to inform the operator about the position and movement of the hook / shank.
Assist in blind spots, making crane operation safer.
Provides positioning of the main block, speed and length of cable collected and used
Controls alarm signals for simultaneous operating position of the blocks and end position of cable on the winches
Records in tons and miles
3D monitoring of the operating limits of the crane turning
The system also monitors and warns the crane operator if it is approaching its CW or CCW limits.
Operator alert system in case of limit
Maintains maximum control of turning positions
Can provide collision alert signals
Os quatro sensores do MIPEG informam:
• Carga atual no gancho;
• Raio de operação;
• Condições do mar ou a condição de içamento;
• Carga de trabalho seguro (SWL);
• Velocidade do cabo e do sistema de giro (RSI)
O MIPEG RSI foi projetado para informar ao operador sobre a posição e movimentação do gancho/moitão.
Assistência nos pontos cegos, tornando a operação do guindaste mais segura:
• Disponibiliza posicionamento do bloco principal, velocidade e comprimento de cabo recolhido e utilizado;
• Controla sinais de alarme para posição de operação simultânea dos moitões e posição de fim de cabo nos guinchos;
• Registros também em toneladas e milhas;
• Monitoramento 3D dos limites operacionais do giro do guindaste.
O sistema ainda monitora e avisa ao operador do guindaste se o mesmo se aproxima de seus limites CW ou CCW.
• Sistema de alerta ao operador em caso de aproximação dos limites de operação;
• Mantem um máximo controle das posições de giro;
• Pode fornecer sinais de alerta anti-colisão;
